How to Brew Tie Guan Yin Guo Xiang
Gaiwan Style (refined and expressive)
- Preheat your gaiwan with hot water, then discard
- Use 5 g of tea per 100 ml of water at 90–95°C
- Rinse briefly to awaken the leaves
- Infuse:
- First pour: 5–8 seconds
- Increase steeping time gradually with each infusion
- Suitable for 6–8 infusions, each revealing new layers of floral and fruity complexity

- Preheat a small teapot (200–300 ml) with hot water, then discard.
